News from ADA-OHIO Distance learning session 8/20 at RSC

The next telephone distance learning program that ADA-OHIO and the 
Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission (RSC) are hosting will be on 
Tuesday, August 20, from 2-3 P.M., at RSC in Columbus.

Please note that this is a telephone distance learning program. 

While there is no fee for participating in this session at RSC in 
Columbus, registration is required by Tuesday, August 13.  Please 
register by sending a return e-mail or by calling ADA-OHIO at 
800-ADA-OHIO (800-232-6446), TTY 800-232-2321.

If you are interested in this session and live outside the Columbus 
area, please contact the presenting organization directly for

August 20, 2002 Public Rights of Way

Architectural Track

Lois Thibault, U.S. Access Board The U.S. Access Board convened a 
national advisory committee to develop recommendations for 
accessibility guidelines for public rights-of-way.  This session will 
discuss the recommendations to make public ways more accessible to 
people with disabilities.  In addition, we will discuss the current 
status of rulemaking.
