FORMER TOLBERT STAFFER DEMANDS HIS RESIGNATION:

This is the message I have for the Indiana Council on Independent Living:

AL TOLBERT actively discourages his part-time staff from attending ICOIL
meetings and also says that if they attend SICIL board meetings, "they
won't be heard."

AL TOLBERT falsely accused me of being a "mole" for Teresa Torres -- a
charge I deny -- and threatened me with termination if I had any contact
with her whatsoever.

AL TOLBERT uttered those bigoted remarks about Hispanic people being "the
bottom of the food chain" and about Emma Sullivan thinking that the motto
"Free Our People" refers to "black people and not people with
disabilities".

AL TOLBERT berates and swears at staff for "being the ADA Police" when
they are merely doing their job in trying to ensure ADA compliance.

AL TOLBERT hires his buddies, qualified or not, to key positions on his
staff, while relegating his part-time staff to grunt work for grunt money,
and also violates Federal law by not ensuring that a majority of staff
consists of people with disabilities? It is also Mr. Tolbert, in a bit of
twisted irony, who violates ADA employment law. He refuses to spare a few
hundred dollars for decent computer equipment for employees while paying
others $45,000 a year in one case and in another case $150 an hour.

I insist -- no, I demand that Al Tolbert be forced to resign from ICOIL.
Today.
