Subject: MESSAGE TO RSA

Today is the one-year anniversary of RSA's exit interview after having
spent a week reviewing the Indiana IL program.  After citing finding after
finding, they promised to issue a written report within 30 days. (See
http://www.dimenet.com/hotnews/cgi/getlink.cgi?2364 for the feds'
remarks.)

Doug Uziak, the "independent consultant" that they brought on to replace
Kathleen Kleinmann (who refused to be controlled and change the truth she
wrote in her report) has reportedly made a deal to provide three two-day
"trainings" for the council.  No conflict there. Problem is, they keep
breaking the law over and over and over and over, never mind doing
anything that positively impacts people with disabilities in any way
whatsoever. 

Members of the newly incorporated Indiana Federation of Centers for
Independent Living (IFCIL), who are among those who have been fighting the
good fight in Indiana (considered by many to be the best example of what
can go wrong when RSA does not enforce Title VII) sent RSA staff a message
today: 

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
It's been a year
The report's overdue
