Message to Governor Mitch Daniels re: ICOIL March meeting

Mr. Daniels,

Having just viewed the ICOIL meeting dated 3/7/07, I feel compelled to
write and voice my confusion. During the meeting, the chairwoman, Dee Ann
Hart, clearly told the members of the public that they were invited to
participate in the goings-on by asking questions and getting involved.
When audience member Ramona Harvey, secretary of ICOIL until December 2006,
when she was kicked off the council by you, decided to ask her a couple
questions, Mrs. Hart and the rest of the committee decided to renege on
their prior invitation.

Apparently the questions put forth by Ramona were too invasive and too
difficult to answer, questions like "Why do the minutes of the December
meeting not reflect the events of the actual meeting?" and "How do I know
that my emails will be seen by you since I have not gotten a reply in the
last couple months?". Coincidentally, I could put that last question to
you, Mr. Daniels, having written to you twice now with legitimate questions
about a group of lapdogs and yes-men masquerading as a group of
well-informed advocates for the disabled and receiving no answer.

How long are you going to wait to do something about this growing insanity
known as ICOIL? Why do you not take an active interest in correcting the
mistakes and exposing the coverups laid down by these conmen and women.
How ironic that a group who is supposed to be championing the independence
of the disabled are themselves a hive mind, taking orders from the one next
to them no matter the callousness or immaturity of the order. As long as
ICOIL is too afraid of the public to help them, your jurisdiction over them
is a joke.

Wake up and smell the corruption, Governor, unless it's your
favorite fragrance as well.

Jasen Taylor (Independent in mind, spirit and political affiliation)
