New Medicaid Fiscal Intermediary Model

The  Statewide Personal Assistance Coalition has released the following 
list schedule for the implementation of the Fiscal Intermediary model with
the PCA program.

This schedule is not in concrete but looks to be what will happen.

July 20 1998    Fiscal Intermediary RFR will be issued
August 24 1998  Responses are due to Medicaid
Sept.  25 1998  Contracts will be awarded to vendors selected by 
                Medicaid
Oct. 1 1998     Begin the Implementation of the new system
Jan.1 1999      Full Implementation of Fiscal Intermediary Model

released.
