Work Improvement Incentives Act of 1999

I just got off the phone with Senator Kennedy and Senator Kerry's offices
to see where Massachusetts stands on supporting S. 331 the Work
Incentives Improvement Act of 1999. Well I am glad to let you know that
both of our state senators are supporters of this bill with Senator
Kennedy being one of the people who introduced it into the Senate.

Things look good for this bill to pass early in the session with strong
bi-partisan support beieive it or not. As of this morning I heard that
there are 50 senators who have now signed on to the bill.

Write to both of our senators expressing your thanks for support of this
important legislation. You may want to take the next step and write to
the entire Massachusetts delegation in the House and ask them to
introduce a bill similar to what has been introduced in the senate.

Let them know where the members of the disability community stand on this
issue here in the Commonwealth.

If this is something you need help with call me at my office and I will
be glad to help you out.

Until next time,
