The Stste chapter of the National Rehabilitation Association and the
National Rehabilitation Counseling Association will be presenting a
program titled Estate Planning For The Disabled Beneficiary.
Presenter Catherine A. Aubuchon, Attorney at Law: CRC; LRC
Absrtact: For a disabled individual recieving government benefits,
certain provisions need to be made so as not to disqualify the individual
from recieving those benefits when they are the beneficiary to a will or
trust. This training will simplify the estate planning process and give
very practical information including a brief overview of the Social
Security and Supplemental Security Income programs, Guardianship, and the
effect these benefits have on inheritance rights for disabled
individuals.
